Setting up Microsoft Edge Sync

Microsoft Edge has the built-in ability to sync favorites, history, and other customizable features to your Microsoft account. This enables your browsing to carry on - even if you change machines.

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. Click on the profile icon in the top right corner for Windows 10 and top left corner in Windows 11.
   
3. Select “Sign in to sync data” and enter your Microsoft account credentials.
   
4. Once signed in, click on the profile icon again.
5. Choose “Manage profile settings” (gear icon) or “Sync settings.”
6. Turn on the features you want to sync (e.g., favorites, history).
   
7. Close the settings tab.

This is an easy and supported way to ensure that your important favorites (bookmarks) are backed up to your Microsoft account
